Ingredients & Method

Ingredients

    For boiling pasta:
  • Penne Pasta – 200 gm
  • Water for boiling
  • Salt – 1 tsp
  • Oil – 1 tsp
  • Black pepper powder – a pinch + salt – a pinch
  • For red sauce:
  • Tomatoes – 6 to 7 medium size
  • Oil – 2 tbsp
  • Garlic cloves – 5 to 6
  • Kashmiri red chilli powder – 1 tbsp
  • Oregano – 1 tsp
  • Red chilli flakes – ½ tsp
  • Tomato ketchup – 2 tbsp
  • Salt to taste
  • Boiled pasta
  • Water as required

Method

  • Firstly, take a wok add water for boiling the pasta. Now add penne pasta into it, salt, oil and cook for 7 – 8 minutes on medium low flame.
  • Now, turn off the flame and strain the pasta in a bowl, sprinkle some black pepper powder, salt to taste, medium size tomatoes, and blend into fine puree. Take a pan, add oil, garlic cloves and sauté until the garlic change the colour. Now add chopped onions, and cook on medium flame until its translucent. And then add tomato puree and mix it well.
  • Now add, kashmiri red chilli powder, oregano, red chilli flakes, tomato ketchup, salt to taste and mix everything properly. Cook on medium high flame for 5 minutes.
  • After cook stir it once. Then add boiled pasta and mix it well. Add water as required and mix it well.
  • Cover and cook for 9 – 10 minutes. Open it and stir it. Yummy pasta is ready to serve.
