Ingredients & Method
Ingredients
- Yellow moong dal 1 cup
- Green Chillies 2-3
- Ginger 1 inch
- Salt to taste
- Asafoetida a pinch
- Crushed black pepper 1 tsp.
- Cilantro ¼ cup
- Oil
Method
- Take yellow moong dal in a bowl, wash it and soak it for 4-5 hours
- Now grind the dal, add green chillies, ginger
- Grind it to coarse mixture
- Take coarse mixture in a bowl, add salt, asafoetida, black pepper, cilantro
- Mix it well with a whisker, till the batter becomes light and fluffy
- Heat oil in a pan at medium flame, add vadas to fry
- Once vada turns golden brown from one side turn it to the other side
